KEMKES HITS HIS SHOT!!

Seymour, WI,08/08/2025 – Cory Kemkes scored a $1000 victory in the IMCA Northern Sport Modified feature on the Reel Shot night at the Outagamie Speedway.
It was the second win of the year for Kemkes. In other action Trey VanStraten continued to dominate his Unified Street Stock foes for his seventh win. Mike Mullen got Late Model win number three. Tyler Wilson secured his first IMCA Stock Car feature. Cole Czarnski also raced to his first IMCA Modified win of the year. While, Thomas Schulte raced to his second IMCA Sport Compact win of the year
Vetting Customs Rigs and Rides Unified Street Stock feature saw Tony Everard hold serve on lap one before giving way to Paul Diefenthaler. His lead would only last one lap though as Trey VanStraten took over on lap three. Diefenthaler would continue to pressure VanStraten over the next handful of laps as the duo raced door to door on more than one occasion. As the race ran on though VanStraten was able to pull away en route to victory. The win extended VanStraten’s point lead in the division to sixty points over Jacob Ambrosius.
In Trailer Express IMCA Northern Sport Mod feature action Braxton Ambrosius led until lap five when Cory Kemkes took to the outside to snag the lead. Kemkes would not look back as he led the rest of the way for the win. Ryan Schmidt kept pace with Kemkes but was never able to muster a pass.
The Seubert Incorporated Late Model feature was led from start to finish by pole sitter Mike Mullen. Justin Schmidt outpaced Brett Swedberg for second in the race.
Tyler Wilson went wire to wire in the Monroe Truck Equipment IMCA Stock Car feature. Austin Jansen battled with Clint Forstner late in the race to hand on to the second position. Forstner had to settle for third.
The Professional Plating IMCA Modified feature saw Wyatt Block lead early in the race, but Cole Czarneski went to the high line to make the pass for the lead on lap five. Czarneski led the rest of the way for the win. Jayden Schmidt and Cody Schroeder raced through the field to finish second and third.
The MEDALS IMCA Sport Compact feature saw Ben Schulte and Thomas Schulte race side by side for the top spot for the majority of the race. Late in the running Thomas Schulte was able to finally pull ahead of Ben Schulte to secure the lead. Ben Schulte would have to settle for second.
Racing will continue next Friday night with a visit by the Dirt Kings Late Model tour. Pits open at 4:00, grandstands open at 5:00, and racing will start at 6:30. Full results and more information can be found online at outagamiespeedway.com or on the MyRacePass app.
