With championship night in the books and fall specials still on the horizon, Labor Day weekend was set to kick off with a non track point night with bragging rights and IMCA State and National points on the line. 93 cars and stars rolled into the night looking to lay claim to a top spot and a visit to victory lane.

The Professional Plating Inc. IMCA Modified A Main kicked off with hometown driver, Flyin’ Brian Mullen grabbing the lead at the drop of the green. Mullen looked to set sail and opened up a comfortable lead before caution slowed the event with 12 laps complete. Mullen maintained control of the race on the restart but freshly crowned 2025 points champ, “The Hitman” Johnny Whitman was climbing through the pack with ferocity. Whitman threaded the needle in a three wide pass to move from fourth to second in one set of corners and closed to the back of Mullen’s racer. Lap 18 saw Whitman work into the lead and held on the last two laps to secure the victory. Mullen hung on for second, Justin Ritchie was third, Tanner Janke fourth, and Matt Klenz completed the top five.

The Monroe Truck Equipment\K&E Sales and Service IMCA Stock Car A main event saw Kyle Stedjee pace the opening laps. Stedjee yielded the top spot to Jerry Wilinski on lap four as the veteran racer squeezed by on the inside. Stedjee dropped to third a lap later when Jeff Kropp also nipped by. Kropp couldn’t hold off the hard charging “Mighty” Mike Mullen as Mullen snatched the runner up spot on lap seven. With Mullen giving chase Wilinski saw his lead begin to dwindle. Caution slowed the pace on lap 13 and Mullen took full advantage of the restart to nab the lead on lap 14. Wilinski immediately had his hands full with pressure from Kegan Van Ooyen who moved into third on lap 16. When the checkers flew it was Mullen salting away the win, Van Ooyen snuck past Wilinski to finish second, Wilinski hung on for third, Chase Parker was fourth, and Kropp rounded out the top five.

Tyler Demars had the luck of the draw on his side as his pill pull put him on the outside front row for the Trailer Express IMCA Northern Sport Mod feature event. Demars looked to grab feature wins in back to back weeks and shot to the early lead. Demars set a blistering pace and was unchallenged over the course of the event. Demars secured his second win in as many weeks while Jake Carpenter finished second, Shane Bahr was third, Brady Harshbarger fourth, and Jacob Rens fifth.

The Vettings Customs Rigs and Rides Unified Dirt Street Stock A Main event had Josh McDonald lead the opening laps but Kyle Gennet grabbed the lead on lap four after starting the event in eighth. Gennet cruised to an easy victory while McDonald settled for second, Roman Blank had a solid third place finish, Austin Steinke was fourth, and Jacob Ambrosious finished an impressive fifth after clipping an infield tractor tire early in the event and having to restart at the tail for the field.

The Midwest Equipment Dock and Lift Service IMCA Sport Compact feature saw Kyle Jorgenson rocket to the lead from the P1 starting spot. That lead looked to be comfortable until Jesse Schulte worked around the high side into the top spot on lap 19. Jorgenson mounted a last lap challenge but came up short as Schulte was the winner, Bo White finished third, TJ Everard fourth, and Logan Boehnlein fifth.

Outagamie Speedway powered by Klink Equipment & Elite Coatings is back in action next Saturday night, September 6th, with the MSA 360 Sprint Cars, The Midwest Legends Dirt Series, IMCA Stock Cars, IMCA Sport Mods, and IMCA Sport Compacts. Racing will start at 5:30 PM.
