88 cars and stars across four divisions rolled into the pits at Outagamie Speedway. With a double payday on the line for late models courtesy of Seubert Calf Ranches there was sure to be an electric atmosphere for the Thunder at the Fair.

The Seubert Calf Ranches Late Model kicked off with Mighty Mike Mullen looking to double up by winning back to back division features as well as double down by claiming the double payday. Mullen’s chances looked good as he grabbed the lead at the drop of the green. Joel Bennett moved to 2nd as early cautions slowed the event. A red flag marred the event when Brett Swedberg spun in turn 2 and the ensuing melee ended with Nick Anvelink upside down. Anvelink emerged unhurt but his night was finished early. When the race resumed Mullen fell into a battle with Bennett for the top spot. Bennett captured the lead on lap 5 and began to set a blistering pace. Mullen closed on Bennett as the pair worked through lap traffic and Mullen regained the lead on lap 12. By lap 20 Taylor Scheffler worked his way inside Bennett and into the runner up spot. Mullen was able to survive late race cautions and captured the win. Scheffler was 2nd, Bennett 3rd, Justin Ritchie 4th, and Mitch McGrath rounded out the top 5.

The Professional Plating IMCA Modified A Main had Cole Czarneski grab the early lead. Just before the halfway mark Skyler Woods wrestled the top spot away on lap 9. Caution quickly flew at the halfway mark and regrouped the field. After the restart Czarneski found the high side working and retook the lead on lap 13. Woods battled back and the duo ran side by side until Woods grabbed the lead for the final time on lap 17. Woods secured the win, Czarneski settled for 2nd, The Hitman, Johnny Whitman 3rd, Dylon Waldvogel 4th, and Daniel Wilcox was 5th.

The Trailer Express IMCA Northern Sport Mod feature event had Tanner Pari take advantage of the pole position to lead the opening lap. Aaron Butterbrodt quickly slid into 2nd on lap 2 but the race was slowed on lap 4 when Braxton Ambrosius went around in turn 4 while running 3rd. With the pace slowed, Pari led Butterbrodt, Owen Wilcox, Shane Bahr, and Dylan Schmidt back to racing speeds. Caution again slowed the event on lap 7 but now Schmidt had moved up to 2nd. Lap 9 saw Schmidt power past Pari and into the top spot. Bahr worked into 2nd on lap 13 but was unable to challenge Schmidt for the win. A night that began with a heavy heart carrying the black flag for Barb Wilcox ended in victory lane for Dylan Schmidt as he claimed a popular win with the crowd. Bahr was 2nd, Ryan Schmidt 3rd, Pari 4th, and Cole Slezewski was 5th.

The Midwest Equipment Dock and Lift Service IMCA Sport Compact A-main event saw Ben Schulte shoot to the lead at the drop of the green. It didn’t take long though for Cody Booth to pressure Schulte for the top spot. The pair traded the lead back and forth over the entire course of the event and Schulte crossed the finish line ahead of Booth by just .002 seconds. A post race tech inspection found an issue with tire size on the Schulte machine and Booth was named the winner. Thomas Schulte finished 2nd, David Cox 3rd, Al Cottrell 4th, and TJ Everard 5th.
